Each member of Praise Incorporated brings to the team his own unique background and abilities. After a lot of prayer, I decided to step out into this ministry in April of 2004 to pursue a calling God had placed on my heart many years before.  Through trial and lots of error, the combination began to fall into place.

Ron Higgins:  minister, musician, songwriter, producer.  What an incredible bundle of talent God has put together; every song he sings reaches and touches everyone present.

This premier tenor has been voted favorite male vocalist in the Texas Gospel Music Fan Awards.  He has been nominated as favorite male vocalist and favorite tenor at the SGM FanFair awards, Chatanooga, TN  for the last three years.

Ron has toured throughout Russia as a soloist with the Samara Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. More than twenty years of experience in southern gospel with such groups as the Pacesetters from Burleson, TX; One Reason from DeRidder, LA  and Psalms from Gainsville, TX have given a him knowledge of Gospel music that few possess.

Ron, who is fullfilling God's call on his life through music and God's word, has a desire to see souls changed by the love of Jesus.   Born in Kennett, Missouri, he now makes his home in New Fairview, Texas a suburb of Rhome, TX

Greg Bares:  This gentle giant of a man was born in San Francisco and moved to San Jose California as a teen.

A lover of music, Greg learned to play the piano, trombone, and took voice lessons before the age of 10. He moved to North Dakota with his parents in 1967 where he pursued his love for music by learning the guitar and singing with early folk groups of the late sixties in many area churches.

Greg also became a performer in operettas and has performed with various groups throughout the years He served in the U.S. Navy and became recruit director for the Naval Bluejackets Choir.

Greg has five children Tonya Mandy, Jason, Megan and Shane along with two beautiful grandchildren Anna and Lukas.

Greg and his wife and ministry partner, Sharon,  have prayed for an opportunity to do full-time ministry and will be a mighty addition to Praise Incorporated. Greg and Sharon's heart for the Lord make them a special part of Praise Incorporated. Greg's tones are what I call "cellar - dwellers." He has moved many to shake, rattle, and roll with his deep down bass voice.

Dodd Meadows: For the last ten years, Dodd has thrilled and blessed audiences with his unique style of singing.

Dodd knew that music was his calling early in life when at the age of 6 he began to sing and play guitar. He was playing country music professionally by the age of 14.

Dodd heeded the call on his life in 1996 when he left country music and began singing gospel msic full-time.

He has been nominated and won many awards for his vocal ability, and continues to strive for excellence in all that he does. Dodd has sung with southern gospel groups such as Prodigal and Jericho Road Quartet. His music and recording experience and knowledge are an asset for Praise Incorporated.

Without a doubt, audiences can feel the spirit of God when this young man sings. Every song he sings is a blessing.

An accomplished musician, he has ministered extensively throughout Texas and surrounding states.

When off the road, Dodd attends Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury, TX and in the past has been deeply involved in the music ministry of the church. He and his wife Diane make their home in Tolar, TX and have four children Colton, Shelby, Abbey and Madison

As the founder and lead singer for the group I take great pride in presenting these wonderful Christian gentlemen to you.

Steve Sam:  As for me, I have been inspired all my life by Southern Gospel artists such as the Happy Goodman Family, the soulful sounds of Teddy Huffam and the Gems, and the Cathedral Quartet. This mixture of old-time gospel music with a fresh blend of the more progressive sound has brought a revitalized focus to our group.  I heard a statement by Connie Hopper once that said it all, "It's the only music out there that speaks straight to the heart and has the words to reach out and save a soul."  I like that; after all, thats why we do what we do.

Myrna and I have four children, Ray, Andy, Lyndsi, and Chris and six grandchildren Justin, William, Alyson, Hunter, Loren, and Jalie, all living in the Texas and Oklahoma area. Though we have lived in Fort Worth, Texas for almost 19 years, I grew up in a little town called Ratliff City, Oklahoma--definitely small-town America. God has been so good and faithful to me without HIM this would not be possible.

Many have asked  where the name Praise Incorporated came from. When I was trying to come up with a name for this group, I prayed for something special from the Lord.  He reminded me that He inhabits the praises of his people. We wanted to gather that up, to incorporate the praise every time we represented HIM.

That’s how Praise Incorporated was born.

I love doing what I do. God has blessed this group, and we can't wait to see you. Come celebrate Jesus with us.
